Empowering Educators and Students to Thrive Through Adversity | Teaching Channel

The Synchronous session will be approximately 3.5 hours. This course examines the role that educators have as Ignitors of Hope! Throughout the course, you will explore the following five ways to ignite hope: remember your why, be intentional, seek to understand, create connections, and lead with love. Participants will make the connection between ways to ignite hope, grow social emotional learning skills (SEL) and learn specific SEL strategies to foster empowered vocational purpose and promote educator resilience and self-care. Furthermore, course participants will engage in discussions and activities designed to transform the school community so that educators and students alike, will thrive through adversity! Synchronous session has been recorded and is available on demand in the course for those registering after the live session. Please note: The textbook being used for this course will not be mailed to you.
