In this course, educators will examine the benefits of rigorous instruction and learn how to apply cognitive rigor frameworks like Bloom’s Taxonomy, Depth of Knowledge, and the Hess Cognitive Rigor Matrix. Design lessons that empower students to take ownership of their thinking while discovering ways to create and revise learning tasks to increase rigor.
