GRADE LEVEL
This course explores project-based learning (PBL) as a powerful tool for promoting the 4 C’s of 21st-century learning: Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. Educators will discover how well-designed PBL experiences can build these essential skills, including collaboration protocols, communication strategies, and a creative thinking toolkit. Through a design for a critical thinking lesson and the creation of a planning template for PBL/4C’s best practices, educators will design authentic, student-driven learning experiences that go beyond traditional projects. By the end of the course, educators will have a deep understanding of how to effectively integrate the 4 C’s into their instruction and walk away with practical strategies and tools that can be applied in their classrooms immediately.
