This valuable course will increase your ability to work more effectively with students who may have experienced trauma or display challenging behaviors by creating a culture of safety in your classroom or school. Through self-assessment and reflection, you’ll determine your present level of performance on the Spectrum of Trauma-Savvy Practices and identify methods to move you closer to becoming trauma-invested. You will learn and try next-level strategies to improve relationships, responsibility and regulation in all students especially those who have experienced trauma. Additionally, you will discover ways to ensure work-life balance to protect yourself from compassion fatigue or secondary trauma, so you can continue to make a positive impact on all students.
