Accommodations, Modifications, and Assistive Technology | Teaching Channel

Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs.

This course equips you with research-backed strategies to support the diverse needs of all learners in your classroom. Explore accommodations and modifications within educational settings, including the difference between the two interventions, and ideas for implementation. You’ll also learn how assistive technology functions as a powerful accommodation tool, empowering students with disabilities to achieve greater access and success.

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 3 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available).
