Classroom Management Strategies That Work
Course #
Grade Level

Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs.

This strategy-based course provides practical ways to support positive student behavior within the classroom. Explore how to build relationships with students, and how to use understated interventions, effective transitions, and routines to proactively manage common behavior challenges.  You'll also learn how praise, humor, a focus on executive functioning, and culturally responsive approaches can foster a respectful and engaging learning environment.

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 10 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available). This online course is priced at $99 (no additional discounts are available).

This course is also offered in a concise 3-hour format (PD113_24: Practical Classroom Management Techniques). The content is similar across formats, so we recommend selecting either the 10-hour or 3-hour version to best suit your needs.
