In this one-hour professional learning course, participants will examine the essential role assessment plays in guiding effective instruction and student support. Focused on Core Competency Area 4: Assessment, the course explores how paraprofessionals contribute to the collection, observation, and organization of student data used to inform instructional planning, IEP development, accommodations, and learning goals. Participants will also learn how assessment practices support diverse learners, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners, while strengthening collaboration with teachers and instructional teams to promote student growth and achievement.
