Grief and Your Students: Honoring, Sharing, Healing | Teaching Channel

This course will provide strategies to help teachers manage the sensitive topics of death, grief, and school-wide loss. Educators will be empowered with age-appropriate ways to guide students who are dealing with grief, specifically their feelings, behaviors, and the outcomes instigated by loss.  Learn how to initiate and maintain communication, how to support students struggling with complicated grief, as well as ways to manage one’s own emotions when helping students.
