Beyond Burnout | Teaching Channel

Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs.

This course explores the multifaceted nature of teacher burnout, including its personal and systemic causes, the impact it has on educators and students, and practical strategies for prevention. Through a series of investigations, participants will examine the differences between burnout, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma, learn how to prioritize well-being, and discover ways to reignite their passion for teaching. Educators will also gain insights into the ongoing efforts to support and strengthen the teaching profession through systemic changes.

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 10 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available).
