Career Counseling in Michigan Including Military and Skilled Trades Options | Teaching Channel

This course equips K-12 school counselors in Michigan with actionable strategies to support students in exploring diverse career pathways, including military roles, skilled trades, and industry-recognized credential programs. Participants will learn to align academic planning with career aspirations, leverage partnerships with families and communities, and incorporate tools like AI to streamline and personalize career guidance. The course emphasizes equity, accessibility, and building sustainable systems to prepare students for lifelong success. The Michigan Department of Education has approved this course for 25 State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs).
