Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs.

Paraeducators are the backbone of the classroom, and they need instructional strategies and tools to best support students, too! In this course, participants will explore and identify new instructional strategies to support students with special needs, reflect on the importance of fostering student independence to support development, and consider new behavior management strategies to help students be successful. By the end of the course, participants will put the PRO in paraprofessional, with new ways for engaging students!

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 3 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available). This online course is priced at $25 (no additional discounts are available).
