This course is an exploration of Social Emotional Learning (SEL), that covers its core competencies, implementation strategies, and impact on diversity and equity. Explore the five key competencies of SEL: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Discover resources and activities for integrating SEL into classrooms and address the debate surrounding SEL's effectiveness, including the research-based evidence of its positive impact on academic performance, student attitudes, and relationships.

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 10 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available).
