Professional Development is intended to fulfill requirements for license renewal and recertification when the student has obtained proper prior approval. Please verify with your state licensing board that Teaching Channel professional development will meet your needs.

Our students bring their unique life experiences into the classroom, and it is critical we have the tools and skills necessary to support them as they navigate trauma in school. In this PD course, identify the differences between stressors and trauma, discover ways to categorize Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and recognize signs of trauma in your students. Then, explore instructional and management tools for trauma-informed teaching and resilience-building strategies to help students build skills to support them both inside the classroom and beyond!

Educators will have 12 months, from the date of registration, to complete the course. Upon completion, you will receive a Teaching Channel Letter of Completion for 10 clock hours (university graduate credit/transcript is not available). This online course is priced at $99 (no additional discounts are available).
