New Teachers: Support for Multilingual Learners | Teaching Channel

Multilingual learners (MLs) bring fresh perspectives and knowledge to our classrooms and school communities. This course will explore ways for new teachers to support MLs through an understanding of stages of language acquisition, academic language, and scaffolding techniques. Participants will also learn strategies for building engagement with MLs' families to enhance language learning outcomes.
